Bordering on the Umtamvuna Nature Reserve & River, and close to a number of unspoiled beaches, we promote an up close view of nature, and offer a host of outdoor activities.
Relaxing, friendly environment, in the most beautiful surroundings, where you can unwind and enjoy getting back in touch with nature, explore the local attractions and activities, or just relax in some of the most unspoiled scenery to be found anywhere.
Superb grasslands, great gorges gashed into raw rock, cliffs of varicoloured sandstone, sparkling waterfalls, and forests of fascinating complexity, teaming with rare fauna & flora...... inviting exploration. With the backdrop of the Indian Ocean the Umtamvuna Nature Reserve, a 3275 hectare area, plays host to 1250 species of flowering plants- 320 of which are trees or shrubs, 259 species of birds, 54 species of reptile, 29 species of small mammal. Not surprisingly, the reserve is internationally.
